Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Company representatives cannot come into the baggage collection area. After you collect your luggage and pass through customs, please make your way towards the exit of the terminal building where a Spirit Journeys representative will be waiting to greet you with a paging board with your name on. Please note that the crowds can be enormous and it is possible that you may not spot our representative, despite their making every effort to be as visible as possible, so please keep an eye out for them. A representative will transfer you to the airport hotel and give you the documents. In the afternoon, you will be at leisure. Optional tours that can be booked and paid locally.

Day 02: DELHI – AMRITSAR
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Amritsar.

On arrival a representative will meet you and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy Palki ceremony in the Golden Temple.

Day 03: AMRITSAR
After breakfast, enjoy full day guided tour of Amritsar. Visit the Golden Temple, the spiritual nerve-centre of the Sikh faith. Later, go to the historic Jallianwala Bagh, then admire the beautiful Ram Bagh Gardens. In the afternoon, witness the charming spectacle – change of guard ceremony between Indian and Pakistan armies at Wagah border.

Day 4: AMRITSAR – PRAGPUR
Breakfast is at the Hotel. After breakfast, you will drive to Pragpur (Approx. 184 Kms: 4.5 Hrs). On arrival, you will check in at your Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight is at Hotel Judges Court, Pragpur [Deluxe Room with Breakfast & Dinner]
Day 05: PRAGPUR – DHARAMSHALA
After breakfast, drive to Dharamshala (approx. 75 Kms: 1.5 Hrs). On arrival, check in at your Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 06: DHARAMSHALA
After breakfast, enjoy a full day guided tour of the town. Prepare to be dazzled – visit Dalai Lama Temple – the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in McLeodganj. Besides the Dalai Lama’s living quarters, the complex also includes offices of the government in exile. Later, go to Kangra State Museum, a treasure trove of the Kangra valley’s arts, crafts, and rich past, displays artifacts that date back to the 5th century. The museum also includes a gallery of Kangra’s famous miniature paintings and a representative collection of sculptures, pottery, anthropological items and copies of some paintings by 20th century Russian artist Nicholas Roerich. Evening free to explore Mc Leodganj on own – originally home of the semi-nomadic Gaddi tribe.

Day 07: DHARAMSHALA – PALAMPUR
After breakfast, drive to Taragarh (approx. 55 Kms – 2 Hrs). On arrival, check in at Taragarh Palace, surrounded by tea gardens of the Kangra valley, one of the most scenic and unexplored areas of Himachal Pradesh. In the evening, you will be at leisure. You can explore the Tea Plantation closer to your hotel (without guide).

Day 8: PALAMPUR – SHIMLA
After breakfast, drive to Shimla (approx.195 Kms – 7.5 Hrs). On arrival, check in at your hotel.

Day 9: SHIMLA
Today, enjoy Toy Train ride from Shimla to Taradevi.

Later, drive back to Shimla for a half day sightseeing tour. Begin with a visit to the Viceregal Lodge. This building is now used by Indian scholars and is called Institute for Advanced Studies. After the tour of this impressive building, wander through Hindu Temple. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely stroll, back along the Mall to Scandal Point. En route, have a quick look inside the Gaiety Theatre, or alternatively find a spot for refreshments whilst viewing snow-capped Himalayan peaks if weather is clear. In the evening, you are at leisure to explore on own.

Day 10: SHIMLA
After breakfast, spend time at leisure.

Day 11: SHIMLA – CHANDIGARH – DELHI
Tea/Coffee will be at the hotel (We would arrange packed breakfast). Next, drive to Chandigarh railway station (approx. 120 Kms –04.5 Hrs) to connect with your train to Delhi.

On arrival at Chandigarh railway station, a representative will meet you and drive you to Delhi (approx. 120 kms – 4 Hrs). On arrival at New Delhi railway station, our representative will transfer you to the Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure (No Transportation).

Day 12: DEPART DELHI
After breakfast, take an organized transport to Delhi international airport to board your flight to London.
This tour will take you through diverse and wonderful landscapes of India from Himachal to Punjab. This is also a pilgrimage through many sacred places, with a highlight on the magnificent Golden Temple and Tibetan monasteries of Dharamshala – a home to Dalai Lama. Delhi – the capital of India opens this pilgrimage. No city in India has such a long and rich history as Delhi This wonderful city has a lot to offer to its visitors – famous forts, towers, mosques, temples, churches, museums, marketplaces. You’ll visit Birla Temple, one of the major temples and landmarks, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib – an important historical and religious site. We also offer you a shopping in Khan Market. It’s one of the most exclusive marketplaces of Delhi and has a wide variety of stores. You’ll learn the cooking methods of North Indian delicacies at Indian Family Home. Your next stop is Amritsar, the second largest city of the Punjab state. The main attraction of Amritsar is the Golden Temple, spiritual and cultural centre of the Sikh religion. Within this temple is the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs.
Another sacred place is Dharamshala, known as a home of Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government in exile. You’ll also visit the Kangra State Museum. It displays the artifacts that date back to the 5th century. We have prepared one of most impressive visits – Taragarh Palace, situated by forests, surrounded by tea gardens of the Kangra valley, it’s one of most scenic and unexplored areas of Himachal. Afterwards, you’ll go to Shimla, the capital of Himachal for a sightseeing tour around this picturesque city, also known as the ‘Queen of the hills’.
