Day 1 – Dublin to Kilkenny
After you arrive in Dublin you will get a transfer to Kilkenny.
After you arrive in Kilkenny you have the rest of the day to explore.
Ensure to stock up on snacks and water for your cycle tomorrow.

Day 2 – Kilkenny – New Ross to Waterford
You will begin your day with a transfer from Kilkenny to New Ross.
Then the adventure really begins!
When you arrive in New Ross you will start your cycle on the Southeast Greenway travelling South down to Waterford. You will start off your cycle on the Greenway taking you along Waterford Road. Carrying on through the countryside of Ireland you’ll reach Waterford.
Enjoy the rest of the day in Waterford.

Day 3 – Waterford to Dungarvan – The Waterford Greenway
Today you will cycle on one of the best greenways in Ireland, The Waterford Greenway offers some great views and many spots to stop and explore. While on this Greenway you will encounter two Viaducts, the first being the Kilmacthomas Viaduct you can take a stop here and explore, you can even climb the Viaduct to gain a great view perfect for a picture! Continuing on 3 km down the Greenway you will find Aunty Rianni’s Chair, a tourist attraction on the side of the Greenway. Continuing on you will find the Durrow Viaduct, the second Viaduct on the route. Just after the Durrow Viaduct you will travel through the Ballyvoyle Tunnel. The tunnel was originally built in 1878 and has retained all of its 1878 features, offering one of the most iconic photo opportunities on the Waterford Greenway. Continuing on just a short distance from Ballyvoyle Tunnel you will reach Ballyvoyle Cove, a great opportunity to take a break and enjoy the great view the cove has to offer. Nearing the end of the day’s cycle trip you will cross into Dungarvan with great views as you do so.

Day4 – Dungarvan to Youghal
Today you start in Dungarvan, setting off on the roads of Ireland experiencing some of the great views of the countryside along the way. Passing through small villages like Clashmore & Cross as well as gaining a great view when travelling over Youghal Bridge.
When you arrive in Youghal the day is yours to explore.

Day5 – Youghal to Midleton
A great way to start today’s journey is to see the Youghal Lighthouse located just before you reach the Greenway. The first stretch of your travels offers you great views of Youghal Beach. Travelling on further you will encounter Killeagh, a small town with a lovely entrance to their stretch of the Greenway. Continuing down from Killeagh keep an eye out for the abandoned Killeagh WWI Airship Base constructed in 1918. You will next travel through the small village of Mogeely and then over the Fitzgerald Bridge to reach your destination Midleton.

Day 6 – Midleton to Cork
Starting your day off in Midleton during today’s travels you will be surrounded by greenery travelling past the Harper Island Wetlands as well as some other great islands on your way to Cork. Leaving the town of Midleton travelling around Castle Rock then going past the Ballintubber West and continuing on past the Fota Island Resort. And then continuing on cycling around the Ashbourne Lake Gardens then into Cork where you can spend the rest of the day exploring as you please.

Day 7 – Cork Greenway
Today you will cycle the final greenway of the trip, you will start your cycle on the Monahan Road getting onto your route passing Centre Hall and cycling around the SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh stadium, home to the Cork GAA football team. Then continuing through to the Cork Harbour Greenway passing over The Black Bridge, you will keep travelling along the River Lee until you reach Passage West. After you have reached Passage West you can choose to explore Passage West and then turn back and cycle back down the Greenway until you reach The Black Bridge however this time you will take the right passage on the bridge towards the end of the bridge and travel along to the Black Rock Castle.

Day 8 – Cork
Today you depart Cork to travel back home.
