Day 1: Arrival England

Arrive in Marlborough where you stay for 3 nights and start your spiritual journey. Marlborough is very close to such legendary places as Avesbury — home of the celebrated landscape temple. Avebury is also famous for its standing stones. Silbury Hill is also very nearby making Marlborough the ideal destination for any spiritual tour.

Overnight: Castle and Ball [Standard Room with Breakfast]

Day 2: Marlborough

Silbury Hill, known as the Hill of the Shining Beings, built around 2750BC is very special — the largest man made mound in Europe, it is steeped in history and legend. Step back in time and soak up the atmosphere of our ancestors here.

The Celtic festival of Lugnhasadh falls on August the first. Translated from Irish Gaelic, meaning “Commemoration of Lugh” Lugnhasadh is an important date on the spiritual calendar marking the beginning of the noticeable descent of the Sun into the darkness of winter.

Overnight: Castle and Ball [Standard Room with Breakfast]

Day 03: Marlborough

Explore More of Spiritual Marlborough

Marlborough is situated close to several spiritual and historic sites of interest. Another such place is West Kennet Long Barrow — a Neolithic tomb situated close to Silbury Hill — construction of the tomb commenced hundreds of years before that of Stonehenge

Overnight: Castle and Ball [Standard Room with Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner]

Day 04: GLASTONBURY

Depart Marlborough today and arrive in the equally special destination that is Glastonbury — a place steeped in Arthurian mystery.

Overnight: Healing Waters [Standard Room with Breakfast]

Day 05: GLASTONBURY

Transport yourself back 2000 years to a time of magic, myth and legend, exploring Avalon itself. Visit the Chalice Well and balance the female energies of the Chalice Well with the male energies of the nearby White Spring.

Or how about visiting the Wookey Hole, an underground playground of both Pagan and Christian legend — having been used by man for 50,000 years, its most famous (or infamous) resident is the Wookey Hole witch who has said to have cast spells and misfortune over the village.

These are just some attractions Glastonbury has to offer.

Overnight is at Healing Waters [Standard Room with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Day 06: GLASTONBURY

Glastonbury — a sacred place.

The main sacred features of Glastonbury are the Tor, the Abbey, the Chalice Well, Chalice Hill, Wearyall Hill and Bride’s Mound. These places reflect the importance of both its pagan and Christian past, having been an important Druid centre during the Celtic Iron Age as well as being said to have been visited by Jesus himself and the more substantial tradition that Joseph of Arimathaea and some followers came here as refugees after the crucifixion, to found the first proto-Christian church here.
Overnight: Healing Waters[Standard Room with Breakfast]

Day 07: CORNWALL

Today you will head for Cornwall where you will spend your final night. Just like Marlborough and Glastonbury, Cornwall is full of sacred sites and filled with myth and legend. The Arthurian legend continues to dominate here with places such as Tintagel being central to the legend. Cornwall has a rich Celtic heritage just waiting to be discovered with spectacular scenery adding to its spirit. Cornwall’s sites of interest date as far back as 20 thousand years — the Stone Age.

Most of the Stone Age henges and megaliths were constructed between 10,000 and 2,500 years BC. Many fine examples can be found on Bodmin Moor in the east of Cornwall and the moors of Penwith in the west. Noteable examples include the Stripple Stones near Bodmin Moor, Lanyon Quoit near Penzance and Men-an-Tol.

Overnight: Hotel [Standard Room with Breakfast]

Day 08: Depart for home
