Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Highland countryside to the charming village of Beauly. Enjoy a short stop to explore this picturesque village, famous for its historic Beauly Priory, quaint local shops and relaxed Highland atmosphere.
Continue through beautiful landscapes toward the world-famous Loch Ness, where you will visit the dramatic ruins of Urquhart Castle. Set on the shores of the loch, this iconic castle offers breathtaking views and fascinating stories from over 1,000 years of Scottish history.
From here, you will board a Loch Ness boat cruise, giving you the chance to experience the immense beauty of the loch from the water. As you glide across the mysterious depths, listen to stories about the area and keep watch for the legendary Loch Ness Monster.
After the cruise, travel to the Highland capital of Inverness. Your guide will introduce you to the city on a short walking tour where you will see highlights including Inverness Castle, Inverness Cathedral and the picturesque River Ness.
You will then have some free time to explore Inverness at your leisure. Browse local shops, enjoy a coffee in one of the cafés, or simply take a stroll along the river and soak up the atmosphere of this charming Highland city.
After a wonderful day exploring castles, lochs and Highland culture, relax on the scenic journey back to Invergordon Port, arriving comfortably in time for your ship’s departure
Please note that the Loch Ness boat cruise involves several steps when boarding and disembarking the vessel. Unfortunately, this part of the tour is not fully accessible to wheelchair users unless guests can walk up and down the steps independently.
Wheelchair users are still very welcome to join the tour and enjoy all other parts of the experience, including the scenic drive along Loch Ness and visits to other highlights along the route. Guests who prefer not to board the boat can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views from the shore while the cruise is taking place.
