Day 1: Arrival in Inverness – Welcome & Sacred Opening Circle
Arrive in Inverness, the gateway to the Scottish Highlands and a city steeped in mystery, folklore, and ancestral energy. As you settle into your accommodation, enjoy the charming, warm vibrations while surrounded by the soft hum of Highland energy, you will begin to feel the journey taking hold.
In the early evening, we will gather in a beautiful, private space for our Opening Ceremony. This sacred circle is where strangers become soul companions. Through gentle grounding, intention setting, and energetic alignment, we begin the process of stepping out of ordinary time and into the sacred.
You will receive your Spirit Journeys welcome pack, including your personal travel altar, journal, and a blessing card intuitively chosen just for you.
Together, we light the candle of this shared pilgrimage, call in protection and guidance, and open the spiritual container for the journey ahead. You will be invited to speak your intention, either silently or aloud, and feel yourself held by both land and group.
The tone is set: this isn’t just a holiday. This is a rite of passage.
Overnight: Inverness
Day 2: Clava Cairns & Ancestral Alignment
Step gently into the embrace of the ancient world. Today begins with a visit to the haunting and ethereal Clava Cairns, a 4,000-year-old Bronze Age burial site nestled in a quiet grove, still humming with sacred energy. This is not just a historical site; it is a liminal space, a portal between dimensions, where the whispers of the ancestors still echo through the stones.
Here, we move in silence and ceremony. With gentle facilitation, you will be guided through an ancestral remembrance process, opening yourself to the lineage you carry and the wisdom they offer. This is a time for reverence, for healing, and for releasing inherited burdens with love.
In the afternoon, we journey to the shores of the legendary Loch Ness for a contemplative soul-walk. As you follow the curve of the water, you’ll be invited to engage in a guided reflection and journaling practice. Let the stillness of the loch mirror the stillness within you. Let the water carry away what no longer serves.
This is a day of grounding, remembering, and gently opening to the deeper journey that lies ahead.
Overnight: Inverness
Day 3: Journey North to Orkney – Island of the Ancients
We begin our sacred passage north with a stop at the enchanting Fairy Glennear Rosemarkie, where the soft rustle of leaves and hidden waterfalls whisper of the fae and elemental spirits. This peaceful woodland sanctuary offers the perfect space for a lighthearted morning blessing and to call in protection for the journey ahead.
Next, we honor the ancient tradition of the Clootie Well, a sacred healing site where ribbons and offerings are tied to trees as prayers for wellness and transformation. You will be invited to make your own offering, a deeply personal act of release and intention.
From there, we follow the coastline north through the Highlands, pausing at the powerful and often-overlooked Hill o’ Many Stanes. Here, you will stand among rows of aligned stones, aligned with moon phases, and experience the ancient rhythm of celestial cycles. This is a space for grounding and quiet communion with the land.
As we continue our pilgrimage, we board the ferry across the Pentland Firth, feeling the energetic shift as we approach the wild soul of Orkney. This crossing is more than physical; it is symbolic of the inner movement from what has been, to what is awakening.
We arrive in Orkney and settle into a peaceful retreat tucked in nature, embraced by open skies and stillness. As dusk falls, we gather for a soft reflection circle, tuning into the energy of the land and preparing for the deep ancestral connection to come.
Overnight: Orkney
Day 4: Standing Stones & Sacred Ceremony at Brodgar
Today we step into one of Scotland’s most powerful spiritual landscapes, a place where the veil is delicate and the past feels vividly alive. We begin our sacred immersion at the breathtaking Ring of Brodgar, a majestic circle of standing stones, older than Stonehenge, surrounded by water and sky.
Here, we hold a private and respectfully facilitated Stone Circle Ceremony, inviting you to tune in to your own inner oracle. With intention, breathwork, and grounding practices, we connect to the land, the ancestors, and the ancient ones who once walked here. The energy is palpable, activating, and often deeply moving.
From there, we journey to the nearby Standing Stones of Stenness, where you will be encouraged to work with the energy of personal power and presence. These towering monoliths act as anchors, firm, silent, and strong. You will explore what it means to stand in your own truth.
Later, we visit Skara Brae, an impeccably preserved Neolithic village that predates the pyramids. This place holds the wisdom of community, of cycles, and of everyday sacredness. As you walk among its stone dwellings, you may sense the ancient rhythm of human life continuing through you.
The day concludes with quiet time for reflection and journaling, followed by a group sharing circle. This is a pivotal moment in the journey, a day of alignment, remembrance, and deep soul attunement.
Overnight: Orkney
Day 5: Orkney to Ullapool to Stornoway – Crossing Thresholds
Today we rise early and bid farewell to Orkney, its ancient stones and windswept energy still echoing within us. A peaceful ferry ride takes us across the Pentland Firth, offering time for reflection as we leave behind one sacred island and make our way toward another.
Arriving on the mainland, we journey through the Highlands to the picturesque harbour village of Ullapool, a soulful stop nestled on the edge of Loch Broom. Here, we enjoy a nourishing lunch and a grounding walk along the shoreline, allowing space to recalibrate before the next crossing.
In the afternoon, we board our second ferry for a soul-stirring voyage across the Minch to the Isle of Lewis, home of the legendary Callanish Stones. This stretch of water has long been known as a **spiritual passage**, and you may feel the deepening of the journey as we sail westward into more ancient terrain.
As we arrive in Stornoway, we are met by a wilder rhythm, one that hums beneath the surface of this windswept island. We settle into our accommodation and take the evening to rest and reflect. You may already feel the Callanish stones calling.
Tomorrow, we meet them at dawn.
Overnight: Stornoway (Isle of Lewis)
Day 6: Dawn Ceremony at Callanish & the Sacred Feminine
We rise before the first light of day and journey in quiet reverence to the legendary Callanish Standing Stones. Here, surrounded by ancient stone sentinels aligned with the stars, we hold a sacred Dawn Ceremony to welcome the light, both within and without. This is a soul activation moment, a meeting point between earth and sky, spirit and self.
Callanish is often called the “Stone Circle of the Moon,” and its energy resonates with the divine feminine, intuitive, cyclical, wise. Through meditation, movement, and guided inner work, we reconnect with this timeless archetype. Whether you are reclaiming parts of yourself long silenced, or deepening into your inner knowing, this day will be one of sacred remembering.
After a warming breakfast and time to rest, the remainder of the morning is yours. Walk the island paths, return to the stones, or journal with the wind as your companion.
The evening is peaceful, spacious, and held. Let the island speak to you. Let your soul rise.
Overnight: Isle of Lewis
Day 7: Journey to the Isle of Skye – Elemental Magic & Faerie Lore
We depart the Isle of Lewis and begin our sacred passage toward the Isle of Skye, one of Scotland’s most mythic and energetically charged landscapes. After breakfast, we journey south through Harris, taking in the rugged coastal beauty before boarding the ferry from Tarbert to Uig, a scenic crossing that invites stillness and reflection.
As we arrive on the Isle of Skye, you may feel an immediate shift in energy, a wild, magnetic pull into the land of mists, mountains, and folklore. This is a place where the veil remains thin, and nature whispers in ancient tongues.
We will spend some time at the magical Fairy Glen, a natural wonder of grassy knolls, spiral pathways, and mysterious formations. Here we hold a sacred Elemental Ceremony, connecting with the unseen realms of faerie, nature spirits, and your own inner child. It is a joyful, intuitive practice filled with play and presence.
Later, we settle into our accommodations, and in the evening, we gather by the fire for Highland storytelling and folklore. This is a night for myth, memory, and laughter, a time to weave your own story into the greater tapestry of this sacred journey.
Overnight: Isle of Skye
Day 8: Sacred Waters & Restorative Time
After the deep magic of the Fairy Glen, today invites you into stillness and restoration, a sacred pause within the journey.
We begin the morning with a gentle visit to Bride’s Veil Waterfall, a site long associated with love, purity, and spiritual renewal. Here, you will be guided through a Water Blessing Ceremony, releasing emotional residue and calling in fresh clarity. The sound of the water becomes a cleansing lullaby as you reconnect with your natural flow.
From there, the day opens wide with intentional space for integration. This is your time. Choose what your body and soul need most:
– A walk along the coastline in solitude
– A quiet moment journaling in nature
– A warm drink by a fire
– An optional **massage or healing session** to deepen relaxation
By creating space for quiet, we honour the truth that transformation takes root in the spaces between. The energy of Skye holds you as you exhale and soften.
In the evening, we come together again for a light sharing circle, allowing your insights and stillness to be witnessed and held by the group.
This is the breath before the next breakthrough.
Overnight: Isle of Skye
Day 9: Travel to Glencoe – The Valley of Soul Transformation
Today, we leave the mystical energies of Skye behind and journey through the Highlands to Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most dramatic and emotionally potent landscapes. The road winds through towering peaks and ancient valleys, inviting silence, contemplation, and awe.
Upon arrival, we begin with a slow, silent walking meditation through this hallowed glen, a land once scarred by betrayal, but now pulsing with resilience and raw beauty. As you walk in stillness, you are invited to feel the story of your own grief and healing echoed in the land itself.
In the afternoon, we gather in a protected outdoor space for a Fire Ritual of Release. Here, we name what we are ready to let go of, the pain, the patterns, the parts of ourselves we’ve outgrown, and offer them to the flames with sacred intention. This is a deeply moving and cathartic ceremony, witnessed by sky, stone, and soul family.
As dusk settles over the glen, we return to our accommodation, nourished by the depth of the day.
You have walked through shadow. You are now stepping into light.
Overnight: Glencoe
Day 10: Ferry to Iona – Entering Sacred Stillness
Today we journey to the soul of Scotland, the sacred isle of Iona, long revered as a place of peace, pilgrimage, and spiritual awakening. The journey itself is part of the transformation: ferry crossings, quiet roads, and windswept shores guide us gently away from the noise of the world and deeper into the stillness of our own hearts.
As we arrive on Iona, you will feel the shift immediately. The island holds a soft, almost otherworldly frequency, a quiet hum that invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and simply be.
We settle into our tranquil accommodation, surrounded by the timeless beauty of sea, sky, and stone. In the early evening, we gather by the shoreline for a tender Arrival Ceremony, anchoring ourselves to the land and setting the intention for this final stage of the journey.
The night is yours to rest, reflect, and absorb the presence of this sacred place.
Overnight: Iona

Day 11: Pilgrimage on Iona – Abbey, Bay & Blessings
Today is a day of pilgrimage, presence, and profound renewal. We walk slowly, barefoot if you choose, across the island to visit its sacred sites, each one a waypoint for reflection and deep inner work.
Our path leads us to the historic Iona Abbey, where monks once chanted prayers that echoed through stone and sky. Then on to the revered St. Oran’s Chapel, resting place of ancient kings and spiritual guardians. Finally, we arrive at St. Columba’s Bay and the Well of Eternal Youth.
At the water’s edge, we hold a Beach Blessing Ritual, offering back to the sea the stories, sorrows, and identities that no longer serve. With each wave, we make space for joy, purpose, and a new sense of self.
This is not just the closing of a chapter—it is a soul rebirth.
The evening is peaceful and reflective, held in quiet companionship or solitude. Let Iona integrate you. Let your essence rise.
Overnight: Iona
Day 12: Journey to Edinburgh – Closing Circle & Integration
We depart the sacred isle of Iona and begin our final day of pilgrimage, travelling eastward across Scotland toward its storied capital, Edinburgh. The route leads us through the enchanting landscapes of the Trossachs National Park and into the heart of Glen Lyon, often referred to as Scotland’s longest, loveliest, and loneliest glen.
Here, surrounded by mountains and stillness, we pause to connect with the ancient yew tree of Fortingall, believed to be over 5,000 years old. This sacred tree is a living symbol of continuity, memory, and transformation. In its quiet presence, we take time to offer prayers, reflections, and gratitude for the journey we’ve walked.
As the road unwinds through the Highland landscape, we continue toward Edinburgh. Along the way, we pause at spiritually resonant sites chosen to support your gentle re-entry into the outer world while still honouring your inner transformation.
As we arrive in Edinburgh, the city greets us with its timeless presence, towering spires, ancient stone, and the hush of sacred history beneath its cobbled streets.
In the evening, we gather in a beautiful, private venue for our **Closing Ceremony**—a sacred container where stories are shared, hearts are witnessed, and transformations are acknowledged.
Through ritual, reflection, and guided visioning, we honour the path you’ve walked and the soul you have become. You will receive a parting blessing and your final message, sealing the journey with grace.
We end with a farewell dinner or quiet group reflection, celebrating the sacred steps that brought you home to yourself.
Overnight: Edinburgh
Optional additional nights in Edinburgh are available for those who wish to extend their stay, explore the city’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage, or simply integrate more deeply before returning home. Let us know at the time of booking if you would like to add this to your journey.
