Overnight: Fragrance and Nature walk, Kochi [Duke Chamber room with breakfast & dinner]


Day 2: KOCHI

After breakfast dive into the charming city of Cochin. Begin with the Dutch Palace, then visit a Jewish Synagogue, onto St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Basilica Church. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon will be at your leisure.

Optional Tour: In the evening, witness Cultural performance – Kerala Kaleidoscope – a mix of various dance performances of Kerala.


06.00 – 07.00 early morning meditation to ground ourselves for the day.

21.00 – 21.30 evening meditation to unwind and settle before bed.

Overnight: Fragrance Nature, Kochi [Duke Chamber room with breakfast & dinner]


Day 3: KOCHI

Day is at leisure to enjoy independent activities. Yoga as below

06.00 – 07.00 early morning meditation to ground ourselves for the day.

10.00 – 12.30 Workshop Detox and Enliven for Mind, Body and Spirit

14.00 – 15.00 Yoga Nidra

17.00 – 18.00 Flow Yoga (on the beach)

21.00 – 21.30 evening meditation to unwind and settle before bed.

Optional: Lulu Mall, the largest shopping mall in India situated in the city of Kochi.

Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.

Overnight: Fragrance Nature, Kochi [Duke Chamber room with breakfast & dinner]



This morning, transfer to Alleppey Jetty (approx. 60 Kms: 02 Hrs). Admire panoramic view of one of the most picturesque aspects of the God’s Own Country. Cruise through the palm-fringed backwaters.  All meals will be served on board this charming house-boat.

Yoga and Meditations

06.00 – 07.00 early morning meditation to ground ourselves for the day.

21.00 – 21.30 evening meditation to unwind and settle before bed while sailing the Kerala Backwaters

Overnight is on the Houseboat [AC Houseboat with all Meals, check-in time 13:00]



After breakfast, leave the houseboat and transfer to Marari (approx. 30 Kms – 01 Hr). On arrival, check-in at your hotel. (check in time is 14:00. We will place a request for early check-in and do our best to secure it, however, it depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed]

Overnight : Marari Sands by Tree Leaf Hospitality [Palm Villa with Breakfast]

Day 6 - 9: MARARI

These days, you will be at leisure [No transportation]

Full yoga program for these 4 days.

Optional tours that can be booked and paid locally: Visit to the Coir factory, Visit to Alleppey town, Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple, Arthunkal Basilica Church.

Overnight: Marari Sands by Tree Leaf Hospitality [Palm Villa with Breakfast]



Tea/coffee is at the hotel (We provide you the packed breakfast).

Transfer to Kochi airport (approx. 80 Kms – 2.5 Hrs).

Special Notes:

UK and EC citizens require a visa to visit India. You are responsible for obtaining these yourselves but we will of course provide any guidance or assistance you may require.
Hotel check-in & check-out time is usually 1200 Hrs except for Taj and Oberoi properties where check-in time is 1400 Hrs and check-out is at 1200 Hrs; Check in time at Marai beach Resort : 1500 Hrs and Check out : 1200 Hrs.

Effective 2nd October 2008, the Government has introduced “No-Smoking” legislation for hotels, restaurants and all public places. Yoga teacher Charlotte Esme

Charlotte is a passionate facilitator who draws on many years of study in the yogic arts, embodiment practices, breathwork, meditation and the study of metaphysics.

Charlotte is inspired to encourage women to reconnect to the Omnipresent beauty within and without, so that they may achieve a life of radiance and an enhanced connection to themselves and others; to Awaken Grace in every moment.

Charlotte believes that through embodied practice we open ourselves to harmonise the flow of energy in our body, which minimises the effects of stress and cultivates a more awakened presence, a stronger vital energy and a greater passion for life.

Alongside meditation, yoga, breathwork, the use of Spiritual Mind Treatments and other tools such as gratitude practices and journaling, Charlotte believes that she has the practices and tools to support women in achieving the meaningful lives they desire. Charlotte particularly enjoys facilitating her Awakening Grace 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training and online courses.

Inspired by the natural world and as a practicing artist, Charlotte loves to support others to access their wilder natures with an open heart, at peace with the natural flows and rhythms of life’s cyclical changes.

Charlotte is the mother of three beautiful young adults, she loves travelling and oil painting and enjoys the opera, music and creative writing.

Charlotte Esme Yoga PoseCharlotte is excited to be sharing the gifts of time, travel, yoga and other practices with you on retreat alongside her friend and colleague Pauline; so that you may return home feeling energised, refreshed and supported.

Pauline strongly believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the benefits of yoga and after having been privileged enough to (along with her business partners) run her own yoga studio has had the chance to witness these benefits in her students. Yoga, she believes, can help to enhance our experience of life by bringing us closer to our true selves. Pauline believes that yoga is for everyone and provides us with great tools to utilise in our everyday life to promote optimum wellness; in yoga we can feel peaceful, centred, in the present moment and uplifted all at the same time. Pauline also loves how yoga can release emotions and open the heart.


Pauline’s initial Yoga training was Vinyasa Flow Lotus Yoga, she then underwent an intensive training as an Aerial yoga instructor which took her yoga practice to an entirely different level. She is currently, along with two of her collages, re – writing their Chakra Aerial Yoga Training Manual.

Pauline has also covered over 100hrs in pregnancy yoga training and just recently decided to undertake Ambassador Yoga Teacher training as an enrichment for her practice. She has also attended various yoga workshops and courses on Nutrition and Hypnotherapy.


Pauline doesn’t put a label on her style of yoga, as her style integrates breath-initiated movement with a steady flow of poses, she likes to keep it playful and imaginative, encouraging movement in all directions to gently open the body and release holding patterns that cause tension and stress. Pauline enjoys creating sequences that are practiced at a pace that does not compromise alignment and helps us move with fluidity and freedom.


Aside from her yoga, Pauline also loves walking in the lake district, traveling and photography.


Pauline is a very nurturing and encouraging teacher and along with her beautiful friend and colleague, Charlotte, she is looking forward to sharing some wonderful yoga experiences with you.
