Our Cycling tour Hanoi to Saigon is taking you across beautiful scenery, picturesque landscapes, white sandy beaches, simple village life. This special cycling tour will show you Vietnam from a different point of view. The terrain, sometimes challenging, is taking you through wonderful charms of Vietnam’s nature, perfect beaches, tropical forests, historical and religious monuments, everyday life of generous local people. Cycle to Hoam Kiem lake where local Vietnamese practice Tai Chi, then go through the outskirts of the capital, route follows the Red rive, insight into life outside the big capital. Cycling through Hue – Vietnam’s cultural capital, gives you the opportunity to explore its rich history. You’ll see the relics and ruins on your way, visit beautiful Thien Mu pagoda.

Visit to Hoi An, a delightful old trading town and UNESCO world heritage site will impress you for sure. Cycling to Cham Towers of My Son – a former imperial city, will provide you the insight into over 70 stunning towers and temples rising from the rice paddies.After cycling, you’ll enjoy swimming in crystal clear water, spend your time in some of the nicest beaches in Vietnam, relax your muscles by traditional massages while sunset smiles at you and promises new challenges for the next day.

Day 1: Arrive Hanoi (-/-/D)

Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport. Transfer to your hotel for check in. This afternoon, get fitted to your bike and you may have time for a short test-ride through Hanoi. There will be a full trip briefing before dinner.

Day 2: Hanoi (B/L/D)

This morning wake early, head to Hoan Kiem Lake to watch local Vietnamese practicing Tai Chi and then enjoy a local breakfast Pho Bo (beef noodle soup) in the town or you can return to the hotel for a continental breakfast. The morning ride features a cycle through the outskirts of the capital. The route follows the Red River, pedal on a dike path, a fascinating introduction into life outside the big capital. Return to the hotel for an afternoon at your leisure. After an early dinner back in the city, transfer to the train station for the overnight ride to Hue. Overnight on board the train to Hue.

Note: For option Superior and Deluxe class, after the cycling today will be transferred to airport for evening flight to Hue. Meet our local guide there then transfer to hotel for check in.


Day 3: Hanoi - Hue (B/L/-)

Arrive in Hue this morning and begin cycling through town, Vietnam’s cultural capital. Today’s cycling journey takes you into town and across the Perfume River to Hue’s Imperial Citadel, where you can explore this sprawling complex, rich with history, on foot before continuing the ride out to the countryside along dirt tracks to the Mausoleums of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Ride past relics and ruins until you reach the end of your journey at the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda on the banks of the Perfume River. Overnight in Hue.

Day 4: Hue - Hoi An (B/L/-)

Today is a classic day of cycling. Starting just outside of Hue and following the picturesque and very narrow peninsular road from Thuan An beach to Vinh Loc then Lang Co beach – one of the nicest beaches in Vietnam. Reward your hard work with a swim at Lang Co Beach and re-fuel with lunch as there is one more hill of the day – Hai Van Pass. Challenging, yet manageable, this ride is full of breathtaking views.
After the climbs well-earned descent, transfer the remainder of the distance by van to Hoi An, a delightful old trading town and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Unwind over dinner and drinks or perhaps a traditional massage for sore muscles! Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An (B/L/D)

Set out for a challenging ride from the outskirts of Hoi An on a quiet back road to the famous Cham Towers of My Son. My Son was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty, between the 4th and 12th centuries, and more than 70 towers and temples remain rising majestically from the rice paddies. The ride is through a remote area where very few tourists venture, and surrounded by stunning views. You will arrive tired but triumphant at these most wonderful towers and enjoy a picnic lunch before transferring back to Hoi An for dinner. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An - Danang - Nha Trang (B/L/-)

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the airport for the morning flight to Nha Trang where 10km of white sandy beach awaits! Cycle around Nha Trang before having time for a sunset stroll along the beach or a massage in the late afternoon. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 7: Nha Trang – Dalat (B/L/-)

This morning we take on a challenging climb up hill to Dalat. We head inland from Nhatrang, this is new route west of Nhatrang to KhanhVinh of approximately 30km of flat road before the mountains begin! This is a beautiful narrow piece of tarmac through the tropical forest to the highland, 30km climb up to HonGiao, and 50 km fuelling us over a couple more passes to Dalat for our overnight stay. Overnight in Dalat.

Day 8: Dalat- Phan Thiet (B/L/-)

Ride along stunning mountain road back down to the coast. It’s a fast ride in parts with plenty of downhill, though there are some challenging short climbs as this is rolling terrain with lots of small hills!   Time permitting, cycle all the way or transfer the last leg along a flat plain to Phan Thiet town. Overnight in Mui Ne.

Day 9: Phan Thiet – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-)

Depart after breakfast straight from the hotel. Ride a pleasant coastal road to Khe Ga lighthouse then load up for the 3 hour drive to Ho Chi Minh City. Today’s ride is in stark contrast to previous cycling, with sand dunes and deserts cape, the distinguishing feature of this day. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 10: Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B/-/-)

At leisure until transfer out to the airport for your onward international flights.
