DAY 1 EDINBURGH
You will start your first day by exploring and photographing Edinburgh on your own. Starting in the Grass market (you can visit the local street market on most weekends).

Head back down the Royal Mile from the Castle to the Palace of Holyrood House. Make sure you explore the side streets (Wynds and Closes) and get immersed in the history and wonderful old architecture of these buildings. Call in and enjoy the warm ambiance of a Victorian pub and try a traditional ale and a snack. It is the perfect place to just sit and watch the world go by.

DAY 2 EDINBURGH (B/-/-)
Spend the second day exploring another part of Edinburgh. The area to the north of the city known as ‘The ‘New Town’. This UNESCO world heritage site is a masterpiece of Georgian architecture constructed between 1767 and the 1850’s.
Take a visit to the gardens located just below the castle. From the East end of the gardens, pop into the Cafe Royal for a refresher, which is a hidden gem located on West Register Street.

DAY 3 DEPART FOR INVERNESS (B/-/-)
You will be traveling by rail to Inverness on your own.

DAY 4 DISCOVER INVERNESS – WITH PAUL(B/-/-)
You will discover the wonderful sights of Inverness and the surrounding areas. Take a trip to the Culloden Battlefield, Clava Stones or why not head on over to Loch Ness and take a boat tour. On the edge of Loch Ness, you can find the historic Urquhart Castle which dates back to the 13th century.

DAY 5 ROLLING FARMLAND & RUGGED MOORLAND WITH PAUL(B/-/-)
You will head towards the west coast to visit the beautiful rolling farmlands and rugged moorlands. On the way, you can take in the following sights

It will be an early start as you will head out to photograph either Plockton (high view) or Eilean Donan. You will then continue to the Isle of Skye, traveling over the Skye Bridge and heading to the following sights

DAY 7 ARMADALE & GLEN COE WITH PAUL(B/-/-)
It will be an early start to get a shoot of Cuillin Hills and the wonderful cascade in the foreground. You will then travel onwards to Armadale, taking the ferry from Skye to Mallaig on the mainland. On the journey, we will pass Loch Elit, Morar, and Glenfinnan and end up at the stunning Glen Coe.

DAY 8 TRAVEL WEST COAST TO GLASGOW WITH PAUL(B/-/-)
Another early shoot of Castle Stalker or Glen Coe. This can be done either before or after breakfast. Following this you will depart for Glasgow and have these wonderful sights and locations en-route:

DAY 9 DISCOVER GLASGOW WITH PAUL(B/-/-)
This day will give you a great opportunity to truly discover the city of Glasgow. Why not take in the sights of the magnificent cathedral or the Provan’s Lordship & Garden. There is also the GOMA (modern art gallery) and the Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery. After a busy day, take a break in the Willow Tea Room, ‘Designed by the renowned Glasgow Architect / Designer, Charles Renne Macintosh”
